Dlock, thanks for the fast reply.

One more question!

Do any of you know where I can find parts page for the 1generation maxx at like at traxxas.com has it for their new 2.5 but not the old. You would think they would keep it around for people that have bought the old maxx. Or are the parts interchangable? <--(sp?)

You will find that a lot of the parts are exactly the same. Pretty much the biggest changes are the wider suspension, and the new engine. I would say go to here http://www.traxxas.com/products/nitr...maxx_views.htm find the part number you need and search for it that way. I am sure Tower Hobbies still carries a lot of the older parts too. Or you could print out both sets of exploded views and compare to see which ones are actually the same. I have been noticing as I buy replacement parts for my 2.5 a lot of them are the same as the older .15......

Hey man I have about 4 different manuals of the 1st generation maxx, I could probably hook you up with one if yould like, pay for the shipping and Ill send you 1. LMK but for a easy tuning referance, the TRX pro should be more like 2-2.5 turns out on the HSN, and about 3 turns out on the low speed, just keep in mind this engine is a pretty hard one to tune, and will take some time to get it right so be patient my friend!! ANyways if you want that manual, PM and we can go from there!!

I got a pro.15 in my rustler(pro.15 have the blue head right??).Great engine is kinda hard to tune right but it's got about 4 gallons threw it and its still going good.Your LHS should still have parts for the pro.15.Mine still stocks the pullstarts and I just bought one a couple of weeks ago.
