Default Hey, My T-maxx is Finally Here!!

Well, It just came in today. I installed the batteries and tried out the radio and see if I could feel if the servos where stripped or not. (they werent) Then after that I played around with the truck to see if any things were loose. After that I wanted to just start it up and maybe move a little but not to much and then bring it in to take some pics and mess with it a bit more. Well I forgot to get my glow plug warmer from my friend before he left to Alabama for a week . So I guess ill have to wait till this saturday to run it

Isnt your T-Maxx the 2.5? what do you need a glow starter for? The electric starter has the glow built-in.

Default why wait

You can use a double A battery if you want to heat the glow plug. Just use the original glow plug wire and another wire to turn it on. This is just if you can't wait.
I've never had a glow plug warmer since I had the ez start but now the the control box broke I am using a AA battery.

yup its an older maxx.... also, it dont seem like it has much compression or is this just cause ive had only pulled on a .25 force and .21bb engine and never pulled on a small block like this .15

I got it running found my old home made glow plug warmer and tried it out and it worked (4 D batteries together)
Its hard to tune.

Also, when I tried to richen it some the screw and the black part around it moved with the screw! Is the black part supose to move? Who said they had a manual I could buy off of them? Cause I need one

Ya, I did offer the manual, you gave me the impression that you didnt want it!!
The thing you are refering to on the carb is the fuel inlet, IT SHOULD NOT MOVE!! Tighten the little nut under it just a tad, that will solve the problem with it moving!!
