There's a good track over in Sun Valley called KZ Speedway. Has both an on and off road track. Staff there is very helpful and people are always willing to give you a hand if you're having problems with your rc. They usually hold tournaments on weekends and if you're from out of state they'll even let you camp out there. Last time I went they gave a guy permission to use the stadium lights all night long.

I wish I lived near socal... We drive 140 miles one way to race in Rescue CA... If any of you live within an hour of Santa Barbara you should check out www.psrch.com You can find info on pit stop RC's races there. The track is on a park, and is very close to the ocean, making the dirt damp and very raceworthy. People who would like to try racing without the huge pressure of a large semi pro club crowd at the race should definitly check it out. The emphasis is placed more on family fun and beginners. although they do have very competitive 1/8 buggy and 1/10 nitro classes.

yes, there are 2 different tracks within 5 miles of my house. One is revelation raceway, which has an on road and a offroad track, and there is pegasus hobbies, which only has off road. I would highly recommend checking out revelation's tracks, there are very well maintained.

its off the 10 fwy and Central avenue in Montclair. I wouldnt go there to buy parts because they are way too expensive but their new track layout is SICK. Its got a jump in the center that has to be at least 5 feet high.
PM me if you need directions

When did they change their track? I was there a month ago and the biggest jump was about 2 1/2 feet. I wouldn't think there'd be enough room on that track for a 5 foot jump.....

Well, I was at Pegasus yesterday....that track is pretty cool now. The center jump is about 5 feet, but there's not alot of room to get up speed for it. I don't think anyone made a good jump off it while I was there.
The track would be great for 1/10 scale buggies and such, but it's not so great for MTs. Not enough room for my 2-speed to shift. There was another guy there with an MT, Savage I think, and he got his to shift, but he had to slam on the brakes to make the turn.
