what do I need to convert to 2.5?
What all would I need to convert my 1st gen maxx to be able to take the new trx 2.5 engine?
Also, what are some other engines that you know of that would just bolt right in with much more power than the stock trx pro .15
thanks for your time!

Why? Just get the Sirio or an O.S. you'll thank me later. AS far as what is needed just look on ebay for the 2.5 linkages and drill a hole in your chassis. Now you can use any slide carb.

You need a conversion kit, runs around $40
The 2.5 and Sirio have a slide carb, this is what makes it hard.
An OS-15cvr engine would be your best choice for bashing. I don't think that needs any converting. Plus the warranty is well worth it.
