Default hyper 8 port to .21BB and back to hyper 8 port!!

had a hyper 8 port on my savage. Blew it up. Trust me it took some work to do, pull start kept breaking so I leaned it out real good on the HSN and ran it till it seized. FUN FUN FUN.. Don't ask why and don't judge. Got another hyper 8 port in the mail a couple of days ago. Just through my .21BB back on yesterday. I'm running it without the airfilter on and man does this thing fly now. Still no bottom end guts but the top end is a riot.

Here's the question/poll. How many tanks do you think I can get out of the .21 BB without the filter, running on dry dirt roads?

Default It depends on where you are running it!

If you are running it on the street only then you will get a number of tanks through it but, if you are running in the dirt I don't see it lasting vary long at all!

Default alright guys......

Here we have it....
I guess I was wrong still going strong on the 11th tank now, It's getting really easy to start though.

looks like 12 or 13 may be the magic number. 13 would be too much of a coincidence.

It's not that I'm dumb and it's not because I'm rich. It's because there aren't very many places to bash and the one i got is getting kinda boring to me. So in place of a good place to run I get my kicks from doing outrageous things to my trucks. For instance. Seems how I pulled the old hyper 8 port off after I broke the last pull start and smoked the engine as a result of being really PO'd about the pull start, I put the .21BB back on to kill time until my new hyper got in some weeks ago. Just having some fun killing this BB.

As a matter of fact I was thinking about throwing one of my Terd uhumm TRX 2.5's on my savage to prove a point to some guys out there. That's in the works.

Am I rich??? No just devote quite a bit of my money to the hobby. Except I buy important stuff, engines, clutches, shocks, bearings, etc.... I'm not real into the aluminum parts thing. So my money is thrown towards more performance related things.

No matter what you say the reason it just seems like a waste. Maybe you could give the engine to someone who would appreciate it. I'm sure there is a less fortunate kid on this forum that would be very grateful to have that engine. I'll pay the shipping to anywhere in the U.S. if you come to your senses so some one more deserving of that engine can enjoy it. It just ticks me off to see some one doing a poll on how long it takes to blow a perfectly good engine up on purpose by neglecting it.

Some less fortunate kid??? Sorry but this hobby has nothing to do with charity. Consider it more of an endurance test rather than just my destroying the engine for fun if it makes you feel any better. I'll be the first to admit that this engine kicks as far as endurance. But as for the performance aspect of this engine, it is severley underpowered unless it's really lean. As compared to the Hyper 8 or others even stronger than the hyper.

IT'S NOT A WASTE IF THE ENGINE IS FULFILLING THE TASK IN WHICH IS WAS DESIGNED FOR. The purpose of having a nitro Monster truck is to have fun with it. If I'm wrong please correct me. I didn't know that the whole logic behind this hobby was to bring smiles to little deprived children.

let me ask you a question. Have you ever thrown out a rotten banana, or other spoiled food? I know you have because everyone has. In that case your a hipocrite, going to the old saying "There are people starving in ethiopia, now eat your lima beans."

YOUR WRONG MAXXDADDY!!!!! BTW IT's my money and I'm free to do with it as I please. Actually it's your money too cause I'm paid by the common everyday tax payer because I'm in the military.
P.S. I also pay taxes military is not exempt.
Oh yeah and if you don't like it then don't reply, it seemed to spark some interest amongst others in the forum.

I would have to agree with tumbleweed in the respect that it is his money and his engine and if he wants to blow it up that is his decision. I personnaly abuse the heck out of my 2 savages and my buggy every chance i get just for the fun of it so I know where he is coming from.

Spoiled food and a rotten banana are no comparison in this matter. You are correct in that it is your money and you can do with it what you please. I just am curious as to what you are trying to learn or accomplish by doing this? Just seems like a waste.

You don't understand. And yet you may never understand. This hobby for me is about having fun. If running the hell out of my .21BB to see how long it will last gets old then I'll move onto something else. It's a waste in your eye's but fun in mine. Not trying to learn anything, already KNOW everything <-- insert sarcasm here. But seriously though it's just fun and games.

Tumbleweed...I'm with ya 100%. This is all about fun! If blowing engines is fun to you, then cool. I love to launch my Savage off 20 foot cliffs just to see if anything breaks...that's fun to me. Peace.

This whole hobby is about having fun. My wife and I go out and run these things and she breaks hers very frequently. I have to fix it very frequently.

She gives her remote to my 5 year old and he jumps and runs into stuff and it breaks. I just buy replacement parts and let them do it again and keep doing it because they are having fun.

And having fun is what it is all about. If Tumbleweed wants to blow it up - by all means someone get out the VidCam and tape while he is doing so we all can see and enjoy some of the fun of watching it blow up.

Ignore everyone else Tumbleweed - If you are having fun, keep doing it.

Wisdom comes from reading the manual - Experience comes from not reading the manual.

Thanks alot for the support. I thought this was about FUN and you guys ensured me of that. A tree huh FourWheeler? I haven't hit a tree but i did run into a concrete block at the end of my driveway. A guy had just bought a T-Maxx three houses down from mine and he was on the same radio channel.. DOH!!! That wasn't fun so i gave him an extra set of crystals and he bought me a new set of A-Arms. Pretty sweet deal.

No not dead yet still waiting for the pull start to come in. Going out of town for the 4th so I wont be able to get her running again until the 7th or 8th depending on when that pull start comes in.
