Swapping out Savage Center/Rear Dog Bones
Looking to swap out the center/rear bones in my savage. I did all four of the other bones in about 10 minutes total by just removing the hinge pin. Is there an easy way to remove the whole front/rear ends to swap out these center bones without disassembling the whole front and rear ends? Thanks.

I just loosen the most forward TVP screws (on one side only, front and rear) and then pull the two that hold the bulk heads/shock tower to the TVP. JUst spread the TVPs slightly and the whole front/rear end will drop out in one piece. you dont even need to pull it all the way off, just rotate it slightly as if folding the front, back over the top. u dont need much room and the dog done will drop right out.
of coarse it also helps that i sheered one of the pins off in the rear (lost a tvp screw) i just pull the two screws (and the self tapper, see below) and the whole rear comes right off, with out loosening any other TVP screws. If this happens to any of u out there just run a small self tapping screw through the hole for the pin and down through the sheered pin on the bulkhead/shocktower. works perfect and no flex so far
