Default TC Tranny Question

I bought a used Terra Crusher. When I first started it, it would not shift out of first gear and ran high RPMs. It would go in reverse just fine. Then after a few minutes it would just set and rev up and not go anywhere. If I would get it going it would be in second gear. It would hit top speed on a flat surface, but if I went up hill it would just slow down with no torque. The engine runs good, and has plenty of torque in reverse, just not forward. Anyone have any ideas. Thank you. I forgot to mention it is stock except for a tuned pipe and bigger cooling head.

Go to Tranny Slip Fix.

I read it, but mine seems more than just slipping. It wont shift back and forth. Stays in second or if it goes in first it wont move at all.

Default Sounds like you,

Smoked one of the tranny gears! Probally 1st gear! I would take a closer look at the trans by taking it apart!

Thanks. I might give that a try later. Since I have never done that I am just a little hesitant about taking it apart.
