tmaxx problem

Default tmaxx problem

i have a problem with the tmax i have checked most things fuel pipes petrol filter etc it is mainly to do with when i brake it cuts out i have got the mixture needle set at factory settings and i have to turn up the throttle trim to open the carb so it will start can anybody help me out it would be appreciated.

Check the idle adjustment screw. You probably have your idle set to low.

Take the air filter off, and look down the carb. There should be a 2-3mm gap in there. If not adjust the idle screw until there is....

when you say idle screw do you mean low speed needle because ive turned that and it doesent seem to move can i adjust the arm that connects to the carb

Look at your manual. There are 3 different screws. One is the HSN, one is the LSN and there is an idle screw. It's on the opposite side of the LSN up near where the air filter attaches. Look through your manual it should show you exactly where....
