Default Dual Exhaust kits for Savage

Does any-body now of any good dual exhaust kits for the savage? , if so please send me information and/or the site. I was just looking for a cool escalade body too if any 1 knows of any please send me that info too.

Lastly, is there any good engine upgrade parts that are fairly good priced and will improve the Savages power noticably?

Well I don't know about dual exhaust but I swapped my motor to a XTM 247 and that my a world of difference. I can put it this way
I was keeping up with my buddies GS Storm RTR 1/8 buggy for the most part. I couldn't keep up in tight corners but on wide turns and the straight aways I was neck and neck with him. I think thats pretty impressive for how heavy this truck is.

The only duals i have seen are purely cooper pipe with chrome paint a few are even powder coated. But beware these are not tune pipes and aare simply a dual out let straight pipe. They are not even really dual since the diameters are the same (i.e. a 3/8 pipe T'd into 2 3/8" outlet pipe.

You will not get any dual pipe benefits because it will simply act as a single 3/8" ehaust pipe. A true dual exhaust will never exist for these engines because they are all sinle exhaust manifolds, and u will be limited by the size of the exhast manifold. any dual splits would have to be half teh diameter of the manifold to preserve back pressure.

As far as the dual exhaust goes it's all looks no performance. If you want it for looks than go right ahead and buy it because that's all the dual exhaust does.

LOL, I found this extremely funny:

i sent a short Email to the maker of this pipe saying that it a crock of sh*t and he sent me this reply

Hi Johnny,

MANY THANKS for the very nice e-mail but it seems there are several 100
satisfied customers that just don't see it the same way that you do. I
guess that you are a trained nitro tuner with years experience under your
belt and YOU really know your stuff when it comes to small nitro
motors. Maybe you should send Ed a quick e-mail over there at powerpipes
and see what that builder has to say about your opinion on dual exhausts
(he builds them for even more trucks/boats than I do). Maybe you should
fire off another e-mail to Scott over at scottshobbies while you are at it
as he has several hundred satisfied dual exhaust customers as well.

The savage pipe actually doesn't slow down the motor at all. YOU DO NEED
TO KNOW HOW TO TUNE A NITRO MOTOR....something you are a real EXPERT at I'm
sure.....YEAH RIGHT !!

I'm not really sure what a crock of *sh*t* and a dual exhaust have in common
but apparently you DO.

Thanks Again,
Brian...Dragon Slayer 129
