Default Has anyone ever seen or used this??

I saw this a while back (like a year or so) and was wondering if anyone has bought one or knows anyone that has?? A 3 speed would be pretty cool IMO!

P.S. I am looking at the 3 Speed tranny for a .21 Maxx!

DAMN I didnt know they charged that much!!!!! Ive printed out some plans of how do do this myself about 2 years ago, but never did it, Ive seen a couple video's of a maxx with a 3-speed and 1/8th wheels and tires, it hauled ***** probably some where in the 40-50's maybe more, but I dont think its worth $130 for just the 2 speed conversion, you could probably make your for $40-50 installed. If yould like to go that route Ive got the plans and instructions on how to do it yourself!!

Someone on here has a video of it. Definitely doesn't look like a tmaxx with as low as it was sitting, but I think it would be pretty cool.

Default 3 speed refund

I bought the 3 speed. It didnt fit! After you slide the clutch bell on (has two gears) you wont have enough room left at the end of the shaft to put the washer and e-clip back on! I couldnt believe it myself but it didnt fit. This was the case for the Sirio .18 motor but if I remember correctly I immediately tried to install on my broken down 2.5 and it didnt fit either (shaft same length).

I sent mine back and had to pay a restocking fee i only got 100 bucks back and a big headache in the whole ordeal.
