dont bother, your T-Maxx will barely move, and once it gets moving it wonts stop. Save the money and buy a new engine or something.

if its a more of a show truck thats a different story, but if you want some performance out of it dont get them.

Default Those tires are made by IMEX

You're talking about IMEX's Jumbo Kong tires.

I think those are just rediculusly(sp) large, I dont think your drive train could handle those tires, no matter how low of a gear ratio you use!! Yould be tearing up tranny gears, diff gears, drive shafts out the wazoo, and of course servo gears!! IMHO those are a waist of money, and will cause more problems then they are worth!!

Oh and they are just totaly ugly!!!!!!

oh they're not that bad! get a 14 tooth clutch bell and rrp brake kit and cvd's would help but everything else should hold up.

those tires looks plain stupid on a tmaxx....And will probably look the same on all mt's out's out there...

Those tires are just came out a head of time before the big mt's hit the 1/6 scale market....wich i think is where those tires belong...

If that T-MAXX on another thread can pull a S-10 pickup truck it will pull these tires just not very good.

The tmaxx that pulled that s10, also had a .21 or larger with Im guessing close to 3 HP, a aluminum 3 shoe clutch, also had a gear ratio of something like 40 to 1. So thats not even a good comparison!! A 2.5 will pull these tires but not very well. YOu would have to stick more $$ into the truck just to get decent performance out of them, so thats $130 + + + + + + get the picture?

If it was up to me i would put them on a e-maxx because they have alot more torque but you will running your batteries down really quick.

Now that is a different storry, the electric motors could push those big mamma jamma's no problem with a little gear reduction, but you will run into the same issues of twisted axles or having to upgrade to cvd's, and so on. IMO if you are serious about getting a set of these, than go all out on the truck so it can handle the stress of these monsters.

With different gearing, the TRX 2.5 should be able to turn them without too much trouble but it may run hotter since it's under more of a load, but your clutch will take some serious abuse. In fact, I'd guess that your clutch would take more damage than anything else. I wouldn't do it unless I had at least a .21 conversion.
Also your truck will handle like crap with those things. The CG will be higher so it'll roll over more, the turning radius will be larger, it'll weigh more so it won't jump as big, and when you try to land a jump it'll bounce real bad.

You forgot to mention having at least one person to push the S10.
