After a few responses I will let you know what happend to me. Seems like I will be dropping in the sirio before AI thought I would have to.

My fantom engine reached 330 once and it didn't evan act weird and my Hyper21 8 port reached 300 again with no problems.

Not now you wont. Those micronized particles comin out of the exhaust that you cant see.. thats your engine's piston/ slee and your money flying out!
I dont think any of the engines are really meant to go over 300 except for the ones that cost an arm and a leg.
I try to keep mine around 250 for the most part and go up to 280 when I wanna try for like a high speed run

I try to keep mine at 270 most of the time but it was hot that day and I was really abusing the engines.

300 is the hottest recorded temp Ive got!! That was with a picco .15 and a very bad fuel filter, needles to say I junked the engine thinking that was the problem but found out not to long after that, that it was the darn fuel filter!!!!!!! Leason well learned!!

HMMMM You just made me realize.. fuel filters can do that huh?
I never really thought of the fuel filter as a source of problems.
Heck if it goes bad.. get some new fresh sponge.. and stuff it in there! lol

How does 396 degrees sound :stupid: The carb now sticks wide open...LHS is going to look at it after I rip it out tonight.

345 on the hpi .21bb using an on board and measuring right BELOW the first head fin. Was on the beach running in the sand.
