looking for a truck, but which one?
Ive read through a couple other posts about which truck to get and some say revo or t maxx some say savage. Personally i like the savage from what ive heard but heres a little more info on what im looking for.
-something that can take a beating but not an intentional one
- can be modified to race- not pro racing just a local track
- if possible something with reverse - if reverse isnt stock can the upgrade be purchased?
- easy to get parts from an online source like towerhobbies or even a lhs.

Losi XXL. Much better handling than a Savage. Parts as widely available, comparably as tough all up(only the A-arms on the Savage are tougher really.. The rest is better on the Losi IMO...), faster, etc..
A Losi Ten-T might be worth a look.. Or an 8T 2.0 RTR if you can swing it..

Seems like Revo would fit most your needs well, especially race worthy. Fairly durable, almost umlimited modifications, and very easy to find parts.

revo looked good too i like the stance of it, closer to the xxl than the savage. Whats a fair price for these if they are used? Ive seen savages for around 200-275 range, revo around the same. xxl seems to be a bit pricey... my budget is about 300 tops but would like to keep it about 250

Go new and get a Nitro Stampede,

the stampede is a joke. As far as what im looking for any way. stampede IS a great basher but could never compete without a lot put into it. Ive narrowed it down to the revo-tmaxx-savage
