The front-end gears tend to get torn up. They used aluminum. Drive shafts wear out too. Better parts are available to replace those.

i agree with the collector, the front gears do get tore up. replace both ends with the hardened gears and youll be allright. the two link suspension system works ok, but if you do any hardcore wheeling, you need some braces for them or the center shafts can bind or worse, come out. rcalloys.com has some good axle shafts and diff lockers. i have two mad forces and get most of my stuff from neweramodels.com and rc alloys. rc4wd has a couple things as well.
