dirt sucked into engine???
While tunning my T-Maxx in a pretty dusty area and running her with out the body, I lost the air filter and surely sucked in a lot of dirt. I shut it down pretty quickly but my question is, how should I go about cleaning out the engine and not circulate all of the dirt?

Take it all apart. Clean all parts. You don't have to remove the bearings, but flush them with a little fuel, or WD40 and test that when you spin them, there isn't any gritty feeling. Inspect the piston/sleeve for scoring. Some minor scratches "might" be OK. Good Luck.

if you shut it off quickly i suggest you take it all apart but when my ofna .28 took a swim in the pond all i did was flush out the engine with nitro, and i suppose you can do that in this situation if you dont have time to take it apart
