Rubber seals in the carb
Guy's gals....I have a 2.5 maxx I have been having problems keeping the temps down and tuning the thing.
So the other day I was cleaning the motor and couldn't get right to the back of the carb to clean it, so I took it out to clean and noticed that the bottom seal was cut in half I have replaced it sense but have not had a chance to try it out yet, could this have something to with the problems I have been going through lately.

Yes it could be the problem Mine was running eratic temps and when I took the carb off I noticed the same thing that the inner O-Ring was cut in half so I replaced it and haven't had a problem since. Also use a little High Temp silicone on the carb flange to make sure it seals good also check the back plate where the EZ Start mounts to and put some RTV on that also
