Default T-maxx shocks

I wanted to upgrade my stock 2.5 t-maxx's shocks to something that would last me a bit more longer. I am constantly having to fill them with oil. I was wondering if a harder spring would do the trick. Please let me know who makes the best shocks that will replace the stock. Thanks Gary

Has the best shocks out there but, they cost big time! About $180

I got a set of the Losi/Dynamite ones, and I really like them. Big improvement over the stockers.

I am using the INTEGY piggyback shocks on mine, they come with blue springs so I took four red springs off my Big Bore shocks and put them on with the blue ones with 60 wt. oil in all 8. truck seems to handle the real bumpy stuff nicely and it corners well too.

I cant recommend the Integy piggybacks because several of the lower plastic ends stretched out around the screws (not heavy duty enough compared to stock).

I might have tightened them on the shaft too much but they arent good in quality anyway.

NOT RECOMMENDED SHOCKS = INTEGY

I sent email to tech support and they probably will send me some replacements free. They already sent me some top inserts that the screws feed into but Im very dissappointed in the quality of these shocks.

I use the Big bore shocks and at 80 to 100 dollars for all eight. I think they are a good deal with great quality.
