will a Traxxas Pro .15 fit into an MT2?
 

Just wondering, I had to take my engine apart in my MT2 to rebuild it and I'm waiting for parts but I have a pro .15 from my rustler that I wanted to try. I think it would scream with the .15 in there...at least give it a little more power than the stock engine.

Seriously? I don't own a pro.15 or a MT2, but I thought that the pro .15 was kinda weak sauce. A buddy of mine has a Stampede with the pro .15 and it's not fast at all. I thought that the MT2 hit 40+mph?

My pro .15 screams, will easily pop wheelies in my rustler, it's actually almost too powerful for my rustler, I can't keep the wheels on the ground to turn when I have the throttle pressed at all.

Are you feeling ok mrjason82?:( or did you hit your this morning getting out of bed? more power than the stock engine? it's 1.2hp vs. .68 [X(]. sorry but your a dumb ass put that engine in the mt2 and your lucky if you will even reach 30 mph:D

T-maxx killer, way to insult a fellow MT2 owner. Also way to insult a fellow nitro driver.

Mrjason, i do believe that you can put the .15 in the MT2. the .16 is not much bigger as far as the engine block goes.

To all, there is no reason to ridicule for trying to keep a truck running while waiting for parts. I would love to have a spare engine no matter how different from my .16. I hate waiting for parts, which I have done many times to correct problems with my truck after buying it (used).

Thanks for your replies...Mecky33, thanks for understanding what waiting for parts is like. My MT2 is my first Nitro R/C that I've ever had and when I first got it, it definately wasn't broken in right or taken care of very well. That's probably the cause of why my CEN 16 engine is so weak and my pro 15 that I bought slightly used seems to me like it has way more power than my CEN 16. Maybe after I get my CEN 16 rebuilt I'll like it a lot better, now that I know how to break it in properly and take care of it. Just wanted to try something different.
