engines

I have a Duratrax Maxiumum MT and it works flawlessly with the TORQ .16 small-block. But Im looking for a bigger engine such as a .17, .18, or maybe even a .21 if it fits. But not any .16's or .15's. I would like a PULL-START engine, and a ROTARY CARB. PLEASE RECCOMEND AN ENGINE THAT IS GOOD QUALITY, AT A GOOD PRICE.
-Thanks in advance.

RE: engines

Hey, my friend took his Siro .18 out of his T-MAXX and put it in his RC10 GT. With the gear that it had on it he ran about 55 mph. He ordered the smallest gear he could get and it's drivable on the track. He races it with the other trucks and doesn't even have to pit for fuel. It has awsome power and is hard to keep the front wheels down.
We took the back plate and shaved it down to fit the stock motor mount and found an exhaust manifold at the hobby shop for the rear exhaust.
It looks cool with a K&N chrome air filter on it.

RE: engines

Oh, the reason my friend put the Siro in his RC10 was because he was practicing and his brother driving an ofna buggy came flying off a jump and landed square on his cylinder head.
It broke the jug off write above the block. A friend went over and picked up the truck and the top of the engine fell out on the ground, he instictiveky bent over and picked it up and burnt his fingers. OOOOPS. We all had a good laugh.
