Cen Headquarters

Hey guys,

Mike and Andrew at Cen Placentia, CA told me that they're going to race the Genesis in Unlimited MT class races. Losi vs. Genesis? Hopefully, it'll be a great rivalry, like the Redsox vs. Yankees.

Great customer service at Cen. I saw their "test" truck. Man! These guys have been beating the hell out the prototype Genesis. They jump it off of concrete and expose it to intense bashing. I was impressed with the suspension--dropped it from six feet off the floor . . . no problems.

Looks like a tough, quality rig.

If they drive it anything like the way they did in the video then there is not going to be much in the way of a "rivalry"! It's to big to slow and has no chance when it comes to racing. It's a basher.

its claimed to go 50+ (or was it 55+) and has a .46 for acceleration.... i think it will do well as a racer... it'll just drink fuel too quickly in my opinion... it sounds ok, but i dont know though...

Mike and Andrew said that the Genesis thrives on larger tracks. Jumps are not a problem. Their test rig showed some serious signs of time spent in the "pig pen".

By the end of summer, all the dust would have settled and then we'll see which trucks make the grade.
