Post addict's. I am just posting, so all newcomer's will be on the look out. Just because some one has a lot of post's or is a moderator

doesn't mean they have been around or are knowledgeable. Just take in account that someone that has 300 post's in one month's

time, doesn't not mean he is knowledgeable, it just mean he post's a lot. I read a lot of post's, but I don't feel the need to comment in

every one. I don't mean to discourage anyone from posting, but 300 post's in one months time seem's excessive. I just stated an

opinion and would like nothing more than to read a new post without the same person posting seven out of ten time's. Free speach to

all, not just to all that feel the way I do.:D

Quality over quantity. I've been here since the middle of 2003, and I have less than 100 post, LoL. But I have like 3k on RCZ ..

I agree 100%. Those guys with over 1,000 posts are a bunch of jerks! They are almost as bad as the guys that start threads in the MT forum that have NOTHING to do with MT's.

While I do agree with you.. your argument is logically flawed!

While Posts>1000 does not imply "Knowledgeable poster", it does not imply "Idiot!" either.

Especially outside the Car forum, you'll notice that people are especially knowledgeable in their field and some people with t he highest post counts aren't even affiliated with this site. R/C is their passion and hence they spend a lot of time posting.

So.. while I agree that posters with high post counts aren't geniuses.. chances are they know more than the rest.. you just have to pick the smart ones out and listen to them. Example: WhiskyVR4, i8tweety, Nitroaddict and many more that don't cross my mind.

Whenever I come across someone with a high post count offering advice (I do ask for some occasionally), I read their last 20 posts or so to see how knowledgeable they are. Some people post for the sake of posting, while others answer 5, 10, or more questions just about every day.

Exactly, I agree that just because someone has a lot of posts, doesn't mean they know alot, but it helps to draw an opinion about the poster. We all have opinions and mental images of the people on this board from the posts they make and the personal info that they reveal. Since most of us don't know each other outside of this board.... the number of posts, screen names, avatars, birthdates, locations, and actual posts all help us to become familiar with each other, and help us draw a mental image of the people we are talking to.

If you feel that someone who has alot of posts is full of B.S. then just read the content of that persons posts, you'll quickly find out if they actually know what they are talking about.

jefx--i hope you didn't think i was saying that ppl with high P.C. are full of b.s. ...i was just stating that some ppl have no clue on some things and just add their 2 cents,
yes i may have done this a couple of times myself..not meaning too....most of my post where in the airplane side but i'm working on getting even..:D

i have been here for awhile and i pos a lot, then i go to another hobby on a diffrent part of the forum and post a lot there, then i find a new toy and i go to that part of the forum and post a lot there, then i get another toy and i go to that part of the forum and psot a lot there. then i see something abothing about one of the toys i got a long time ago and then i start tinkering with that toy then i start posting a lot in that forum and then it all happens again with new toys.
i love toy, and posting. expesaily the post that mean nothing and dont matter atall. kinda like this post.
i am knowligable though. i have been racing rc for 7 years and my dad has been racing rcs for over 26 years. he knows a lot. thats mainly where i get my answers. the post that sound like i make something up is b/c my dad isnt home so i cant ask him so i make up something that sounds real true. im just jokeing about the asking my dad part. i do know a lot about rc. lol

lol this is a good one. Post addicts.Ok so which one of you is the one shaking at the keyboard just jonesing to post? I also have no idea about anything RC I'm a toothbrush bristle replacer and just come here inbetween brushes so I look busy.

The one's that irritate me....
