Self Made Mods

What are some mods that you made from scratch and how did you build them?

i did a front tank mod on my savage with an ofna 9.5 rtr tank, had to make up a mounting plate for the tank, grind away at the radio box, and rtv my tiny reverse servo to the underside of the plate. so then i had to fabricate custom linkage for that servo. i also mounted the throttle servo where the tank was, and made up linkage for that too.

I did a roll-cage out of 3 mm brass wire, very crude but it works super...I have not broken a single "internal" part on my truck since installing it...

I've made some stuff for my TXT also...axle mounted steering and new radio/battery tray:

nah, im jus gonna do the front, the hummer stickers has 2 yellowish and 2 white so i think thats what ill go with, i dont wanna make it look like im putting on the brake all the time :)

I got a pretty nifty idea, get the threaded leds and loc tite a nut inbetween it and the body, then cut a slot on the body and use washers to recess the switch, and i'll get a battery box and tape it down:D
