What are symptoms for an unsealed gas tank?
 

Just curious, I think I may have this problem.

If the gas tank isn't tightly sealed by the lid, what problems does it give the truck?

think its the same as an airleak, runs lean and runs hot.

pull the gas tank, cap the exhaust pressure inlet, submerse it in water, and blow into the gas tube.

if you see bubbles, you have a leak and you gotta do something about it.
