Racing and Bashing

I would like to race and bash my next r/c vehicle. 1/8 scale is what I am interested in. The Losi LST2 is highly praised at the local track, for racing and bashing, "just change the tires they say". My first choice was the GST, but everyone says it's really just meant for bashing. Is there anyone with experiance with both of these?

TNX 5.2R is race ready/oriented. And you don't have to change the tires. Great for bashing too.

Mtbkym01, what was the deciding factor that made you choose the Losi?

I had decided to get the Aftershock, then looking at upgrading it to how I wanted. After seeking advice on here and at other forums, there was really no point in doing that. I also considered the TTR Hammer S50 (MGT 8.0). My plan is not to race this truck and just race my ST-R Truggy, but I know myself too well, and this will also probably become a racer, so really this was the only choice as far as I was concerned, and let me tell you, I couldn't be happier with my decision. I haven't run it yet, but cant wait.
