My one way bearing on My Kyosho GP Wild Dodge Ram slips all the time. I soaked the bearing in denatured alchol for about a day put it back in and i ran the truck for 2 tanks. THe truck has been sitting for a week and i go to start it and the electric start is turning but the motor isn't. Sometimes it catch but mostly it slips. What should i do? Its about 80 degrees here and i leaned my truck a bit found i needed to richen back about a quater turn but i am experiencing some cutting out what should i do?

I had the same problem with my T-Maxx electric start and it's one-way bearing. Here is what my LHS advised me to do. Around the center of the area where the one-way bearing sits in your starter drill a small hole big enough for the tip of a WD-40 straw to fit in, then, when your one-way stops grabbing, spray some WD-40 in it. Of course, this is what we do on the T-Maxx. I'm not really sure how your truck is put together, or if it is even possible to drill a hole near your one-way bearing. If you do, make it to where you can put something in the hole to keep out unwanted contaminates.

what does the WD-40 do becuase my electric starter is very similar to traxxas casue my friend has a rustler and i looked at it

The WD-40 cleans the grease and oil off the shaft where the one-way bearing needs to catch at. I did what they told me to do at the LHS and it worked like a dream. I was also having similar problems as you, run a tank or two of fuel and then couldnt get it to start, kept having to bump the starter in order to keep the engine turning over.

ok so what u think is a good size hole 1/8 or 3/16

Hmm, I looked at mine, and I made mine with a quarter inch drill bit. I don't see a reason for it to be so big. I would say to make it only as big as one of your smaller screws that you will be using to plug the hole with. That way, if the hole isnt big enough, you can make it bigger till it suits your needs.
