Sirio .18 vs Trx 2.5 vs Trx 2.5 w/Sirio piston & Sleeve
 

I've got an older T-maxx and updated to the newer wider suspension. The OS15-cv engine needs a new piston and sleeve, so I'm thinking of just getting a new engine. I plan to race twice a month at a near by track but also bash at home most of the time. There hasn't been much Sirio talk so I decided to start a thread.

I want value, that is I don't mind dishing out $200 bucks for a Sirio but if I can get a 2.5 for $120 I'll do that. I plan to run my engine rich to make it last, even at the races. I'm a fair driver, which means I can probably string a couple of laps with out crashing, or flipping over. I just don't want to get embarrased by a worse driver with better equipment.

i've talked to a couple of racers at another track and they all raced with the 2.5 and some are planning to upgrade once their 2.5 gives out.

Long term, which is best?

well the sirio is a .18 so it will be more tourqey. you will need to gear up to take advandage of the engine if you get it. also it will alow you to use bigger tires then the stockers. You can get it for 185-200.
