savage engine upgrades

Does anyone out there have a complete list of parts (clutches,fly-wheel, clutch bell, etc) to upgrade my Savage. I am going to put in a Hyper 8 port or a picco .26 . (leaning more towards the picco) i,ve read about the alum. clutch shoes and the other things on the other threads, but i would like to know which ones bolted right on and worked the best for performance and longengevity. I would also like to know the part #'s and such for the upgrades. Sorry havent checked in here in a while (THE BOSS) has had other projects going on for me.. All help would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks in advance. Offroadnut. :confused:P.S. does anyone know what pipe works best with the big displacement picco engine?

thanks and more Q's

thanks rex2342 the info is greatly appreciated, do you know anything about the picco .26? And has anyone anyone ever tried the FOX pro series #8 glow plug, they said they couldnt say if it was hot /mid.,or a cold plug, they just said it was a long plug that they made for heli and car/truck applications. I live about 10 to 15 miles from FOX manufacturing. They gave me a few to try out ,I havent put them to use yet. If they work out they will only cost me $2.85 each and they will also mix me some fuel any way i want it for about $15.00 a gallon. Anyone know what mix Percentages I would need to make some good fuel? Nitro vs. castor vs. methanol, etc. I currently run 20% nitro.

Here is the clutch and clutchbell you need a shim kit also for this to work properly but i couldn't find the part# and you should be able to use the clutch nut off the savage on either of those engines. To be honest I don't see what the big deal is about the Picco engine it has .2 more hp and 1000 less rmp and 7 ports.I guess it says something that it makes more with less rpm's and less ports but it also more expensive but it may be more reliable and a better design I don't know i'm sure someone else knows more than me about this engine.Witchever engine you decide to get i'd reccamend getting heavy duty dogbone or CVDs also I just broke mine yesterday. Both of these engine drop right in with no mods to anything else you just gotta make sure your drivetrain is up to the challenge!I don't know anything about Fox glowplugs or mixing fuel but I say try the plugs and do a search about fuel on this forum I remember reading somewhere about mixing your own.

thanks again,I am trying to get all of the opinions and info i can. I've read most of the forums and I still cant make a decision. I guess I'll sleep on it and try again tomarrow. I've read the one about mixing your own (about ???? weeks ago) I don't remember it saying anything about specific percentages, they will mix it for me, I just need to know what to tell them.

I haven't broke the pullstart but I did hear they were pretty weak just don't try to start it if it's flooded but other than that it's a great engine.I've had no problem with it and it was easy to tune and has LOTS of power(Broke my dogbones) and it fires up after 1-2 pulls everyime even after sitting a few days
