I was out with my buddie who has a T-Maxx and I had my tyco racer that I bought at Toys R Us. We decided to have a drag race for fun and he and I pulled up to the line. We both hit the throttle and it was close off the line, then I pulled ahead of him at about 45 MPH and won by about 3 lengths. This was about a 200 foot drag race. I couldn't believe it, his maxx has got the new 2.5 in it and it is tuned perfectly. I'm buying tyco from now on and I recommend it to everyone...those things are fast and I'm sure it would blow away a savage if it could beat a t-maxx. Just kidding. I just wanted to see what kind of reaction you guys would have from this. :D

I could believe a toy can out run a nitro, but there are other drawbacks, like parts availability, strength, radio range ect..

I superglued a D size model rocket engine to a r/c boat I had. It went fast, but the engines only have about a 3 - 4 seconds of boost. Never done it on a land r/c before.
