RE: Kyosho motorcycle
you could get the special radio/speedo combo for the kyosho bike or...............
i've got a standard 27MHz acoms reciever and a novak explorer 2 in mine, which means unlimited motor choise!!!
to fit them in they are both removed from the cases and the reciever is underneath the rear portion near the exausts and the speedo is next to the motor ( you can put them both next to the motor but as theres no where to put a proper arial the range is short). if you have spare radio lying around try using that and DO NOT run it any where water!!!

RE: Kyosho motorcycle
Hi, You can run a small Futaba pcm rx, and any small servo, I have a Mamba brushlesss set up in mine, crazy, dont run the standard servo rx servo set up, its so slow, if you run a brushed motor the grupner 300 motor and your own esc will be an 100% improvement over standard.

RE: Kyosho motorcycle
Go for the leaning rider, its a much better bike, and you can get parts and up grades for it, even make it brushless, its a great little bike.

RE: Kyosho motorcycle
I have one of these, and it is my second one.
If you need parts, go to eBay and look in the listings and the eBay stores, you can find many upgrades for these.
Regular 1/10 stuff does not work.
I suggest you buy the combo kit that includes Motorcycle, Bearings and the Receiver/ESC/Servo combo.
All you will need is a 27mhz radio, battery charger, and a 2/3 battery with 6 cells. (The size batteries that the micro cars use, and it has to be stick pack.)
I made the mistake of putting in individual electronics on my first one.....Novak Spy, XXL Receiver and Micro servo.....but it did not operate that great.
I would start with the gear ment for it, then work up to swap'n it out.
They are a blast though!
