Best paint/won't chip
Relatively new to RC. Leaning as I go. Any advice on types of paint for the lexan bodies that won't chip? I've rolled my truck quite a few times now and as the body flexes the paint is just chipping off at an alarming rate! I think I used Testorspaint. Obviously this was a bad choice. Is there paint designed especially for RC cars?
Thanks for all the advice; past, present and future!

RE: Best paint/won't chip
It takes special paint to stick to polycarbonate bodies. That being said, I've used Pactra Spray-Can paint for polycarbonate bodies, and it still flakes off with minor impact. Mainly around the lower edge of the front, and sometimes around the wheel openings and along the rocker panels.
I think I'd like to try an air-brush as maybe with less thinners than an aeresol, I'll have better luck. I might also try a different brand, such as Parma.
Who knows...maybe I need to dry the paint with infared or something. But however they do factory painting, it never seems to flake off.
So....I'm no help, but I am interested in the answer too.

I use Parma faskolors not had any chipping.
I've had the body tear on my savage, and have not needed to touch up the paint.
Only time it will wear is if a shock tower rubs on it, or sometimes a steering servo horn(depending on the RC) but at those spots just put a piece of duct tape after you paint, and its all good
Best thing its useable in a airbrush, or you can apply it with a paint brush by hand (I do both)
Other than that before painting, and masking make sure you clean the body off with soapy warm water, rinse it EXTREMELY well, and dry it with a lint free towel
