it is a true bolt in. the o.s. 21tm, is stupid FAST. my jaco slicks wont hold at low speed, you HAVE to hold the throttle back. and the slipper clutch wont hold ether. lock the clutch? so i may adjust the throttle to open only half way.

Lock up the slipper, but buy the Hot Racing herdened steel trans gears first! If not you will shred the stockers fast.

So its a good engine? I was thinking about picking one up to throw in my Losi 810.

the engine has tons of power. i have jaco jac2040 tires on the back. i HAVE to take it easy or the throttle, or the tires just spin and the car goes around and around. even with a locked diff even if you open it a small amount but open it fast you still get tire spin. my tuner guy says to go to single speed. sounds good to me. this kid that tunes my car is a genius.
