leave the box on. it is bolted on by 3 screws, two go in from the back, 1 goes in from the inside of the gear box, making it hard to take out. i moded mine so all 3 screws come off from the back. having a emty box in the back wont hurt any thing. i use a Prophet plus lcd charger. dyn4049. i realy like this charger. it has an adjustable amp charger, with a knob.

the stock wheelie bar bolts to the rear bat box. but there are wheelie bars that bolt to the main frame. BUT you need longer bolts at 4 places, i think. from, era tjt343 wheelie bar. tjt324 front chassis reinforcement. they also have 3-4 different front bumpers. i have been using the wheelie bar and the, front reinforcement, and a bumper, they are very good. course they are made aluminum, but the added weight doesnt seem to hurt any thing.
