RE: Kyosho TR15 Stadium Truck
Love the Stadium Force! That's an O.S. .15 sitting on there with a Hyper gold head, Motor Savers air cleaner, and Duratrax tuned exhaust set (cheaper than Kyosho). Clutch shoes are the Vespal type, a really tough tan-colored material, expensive, but very good. Up front, the Futaba 9304 steering is a big help, and the universal shafts make the front end roll smooth, even in tight turns. Associated springs, red and gold, the hardest of the bunch, keep the chassis from smacking the ground. In the radio box, I have an HPI 1400 NiMh 6V pack, good run time and makes the servos more lively.
All of the Kyosho options can be found on their site. Check out kyosho.com and kyoshoamerica.com

Hi,
I know this is an old post, but would you happen to have a photo of the radio box showing the HPI 1400 NiMH in it. I'm looking to get one for my truck and I have the same as listed. Any help with this would be grate.

Older KY Stadium Force Nitro Truck Rehab
I am trying to get a "vintage" nitro stadium force up and running - its solid and functional except the engine/pull start is a bit sticky. Any reco's for improvement - maybe new engine/electric starter kit?
I am very used to my traxxas Jato 3.3

Loosen the engine up by putting some acetone or glow fuel through the glow plug hole and turn over repeatedly. It'll take a dozen drops of fuel or the like to get everything loosened up well enough to start.

stadium force
thanks - I actually got it running today - only to rip starter cord. still trying to figure out if it would work with the traxxas ez start set up.. any thoughts? or should I just replace the pull start?

You'd have to try fitting the EZ start system to see if it fits. It may or may not. As for the pullstart; just fix it. Get some good quality nylon kite strong - not the cotton stuff.
