Default Was this a good trade

Got a Traxxas Jato 2.5, a TMaxx .15, and a bunch of parts, tools, etc. The TMaxx is totally stock and is missing a shock and the carb was stuck. The Jato has a few aluminum upgrades and the o-ring for the idle screw was totally worn out. Ultrasonically cleaned both carbs and ordered new o-rings. Got the o-rings for the Jato and it runs like a bat out of hell. Waiting on the bits for the TMaxx. Both lexan bodies were ugly so I fitted an old, but really nice shell, I had laying around for the Jato. Ordered a new shell for them TMax. I have two 1:5 scale electric stadium trucks that have seen better days, but used the aluminum shocks on the TMax along with the wheels. Ordered adaptors to fit the 5th scale on the TMax since the OeM are pretty beat up.

Not sure they they are worth much, but the trade value on my end was about 100 bucks. The Jato is scary fast on 30% and waiting to see on the TMax. Oh, and I also got an extra .15 which has a seized crank piston rod and an extra 2.5 with a missing high speed needle.

Used trucks are always a gamble . Sometime you win but you mostly loose. If you get $100.00 worth of fun out of them then you won !

Thanks for the replies. I would have been happy with just one of them running. They both run really good. Carbs just needed new o-rings.
