Well, i am REALLY starting to get sick of my st-15. Tonight i just sat on the couch messing the the tires and looking at all the slop they have. The whole car is just poorly designed. I would like to try to sell it for $250-$300.

I have been looking at either a Losi XXX-NT or an RC10GT plus. I need a car that costs less than around $300, is easy to work on, raceable, and very durable.

I don't care whether it is RTR or a kit, and a sealed rx and battery box would be nice...

How much do these cars cost, and which one is better? Is the RC10GT plus something i can keep around for a long time to eventually race?

I saw that Ryan Cavalieri (17) won the IFMAR worlds, and think "Dangit i wanna do thats someday!"...

I have the XXXNT and love it! I would recommend that you look at what your local shop carries (parts) and what is being run in your area and go with that. I don't think you can go wrong with either product.

However - my vote is for the LOSI. They put a lot of time and energy in to their engineering of products and it shows.

Dodge-fan, that ebay link that you sent me is dead. So now i have a whole bunch of questions...

Does the chassis have a whole bunch of little places for mud and dirt to get stuck?
Can i get it without radio and support equipment?
Are the shocks threaded or do you have to use spacers?
Is it race legal (Is the 15. engine ok?)?
Does it have a sealed battery and RX box?

Could you post some pics of the chassis for me? Thanks for the help!

lol, hell i dunno what the hell it is anymore. its a rc10gt plus last time i put stuff on it(it also has many of my own little things i scrapped off of other cars from my past) the body is from proline racing i think. losi xxx-nt is a very well built car, but rc10gt is for us ppl who like crashing and stuff

Well i want a new car but i don't know if i can sell my old car... If i can sell it than i am stuck with it until i go to college. Mom and dad won't let me have two cars...

Nice GT. Well, i have done some research and i am still leaning towards the Losi... I like its clean look and all its narrow chassis. I put my ST-15 up on RCU today for $280. Just crossing my fingers... I kind doubt it will sell for that much...

I also found a XXX-NT today on ebay... 3 Days left, used, in good condition, 200 bucks and no bids, no reserve. Sounds perfect huh? Ohh i wish my car would sell soon! Then maybe i could get that guy to relist it with buy it now...

Ebay(or here) but used is the way to buy in my opinion. great deals are to be had. evry time I tell people what I got with my gt and for how much they get upset that they bought new. just do you research. If you do enough research you will stop your silly thoughts about getting a Losi...........

i did alot of research befor i bought my nt. i found that alot more poeple are happy with the nt than the gt. i think it looks alot better built, all of the electronics are covered and it looks complete. ive saw alot of gts and dont like the way they look. ive also heard the battery falls off all the time and causes runaways. i know alot of guys that race and they all told me to go with the nt. anyone who says that its not a good truck for bashing is lieing. its by far the most burly(besides the tranny). the gt does have alot of hop ups avalible, but if you get the adam drake it comes with alot of graphite parts, not to mention threaded shock bodies, titanium nitrated shock shafts, and the drake edition pipe. i strongly agree with your choice of a xxx nt.

im trying to enclose all my stuff on my GT and yet i cant find a box that covers the battery part of it!!!!! i found everything else though[8D]

Threaded shocks!? Cool! How much do those cost? That would be my first hopup!

well if you get the drake edition they come with it. i think for the shocks with everything including the titanium nitrated shock shafts, and threaded shock bodies you will be spending around 60 dollars.

damnit im going to end up buying me one of these the only "real" hop-ups for the rc10 is just the plus kit...and a few others, but thats about it that can fit on the damn car.[:@]

I think the RC10GT is kinda loosing its former "greatness"... They used to be everywhere! Now Losi is taking over... If i was to buy an RC10 i would get one with a "tub" chassis... Those things are cool[&:]!

what do you mean there are no hop ups for the GT? there ar emore hop ups for it then anything but tmaxx/emaxx
