well when they released the 18ss maybe they hadnt released the big purple hed yet

Well i once did have the 18ss (w the huge purple head) on my rs4 3. It was very fast and i didnt have too many problems with it. I just dont know what HPI was thinking with the ss kits when they put that small head..AND BLACK cmon!

so i am done putting my os cv-r 18 in the mt2 i cant wait to start it up.can you guys that have this engine in there mt2 tell what im i am looking forward to like dose it have good pick up on road how is it offroad i think its going to be a little beast will it keep up to my tmaxx 3.3 the stock .15 was a big P.O.S imo

Actually the engine itself was out about 2-3 months before the ss kits witht he small black head was released

i think it will keep up with your tmaxx through first gear, but if you went from the t-15 to the 18cv-r then yeah your gunna notice a huge difference in power

hey, i just bought an MT2 18ss kit, with no engine or electronics (for 128$ i must add) and i was wondering what engine i should place in it? but im looking at around 100-180 dollars though.

get a pipe with a long chamber, i think... i think its the longer the pipe the better the low end and the shorter the pipe the better the top end, but i may be wrong, does anybody know?????

DAMN!!!![X(][X(][X(]good deal... put in an OS .18cv-rx and you will not be dissapointed, they cost around $109 and you can get them on ebay for that price and usually with free shipping thats how i got mine

i cant believe they sell them so cheap when some people are will to pay $150 for a hpi 18ss engine

sell the engine on ebay for some reason they go like hotcakes. get a .18cv-rx or something like that way better than the hpi engine

a different header wont increase performance, so you should just replace it with the same one

Does any one know of an aftermarket
Head/Heat sink for the .18ss engine.
I have tried to get hold of a new underhead but there is not one available it comes
as a single peice £35.00 +postage

Is there a more robust aftermarket heatsinck alternative
