Adjust your throttle TRIM on the transmitter until the carb is fully closed, turn the idle screw so that the carb is open about 1mm so the engine will idle on its own and adjust your brakes manually. There is more detail but this will help.

well i think this is a first....
was bashing hard on my mt2
and i thought i stripped my rear ring gear..
pull truck apart and ring gear is fine...
i pull diff out and the screw heads fall out and the rang gear falls off the diff cup and the rest of the screws are in the diff cup...
so i need a new alloy diff cup lol
you can see theirs a "ridge" in the diff cup gouged out from the broken screw heads ripping around

JACKEMAN-its hard to make people beleive what these trucks will take, good video of one being smashed into some concrete and driving off.
now that christmas is over we can get to the fun stuff NEW YEARS, my resolution is to not spend so much on rc cars, maybe a tank or a snowmobile or a boat lol.

I own the RTR MT2 with the T-15 engine. I want better acceleration because I run to small places (in my back yard).
Should I choose a smaller or bigger clutch bell? Now I have a 13T CB. I know that I will loose top speed but I don't mind.
Thank you.

I live at 6000 ft, i use power master 20% nitro on my MT2 but now that my can is empty i wonder if i buy 30% will be enough oxigen to burn it and do you think it will harm my engine? hpi owner's manual says that i must use 20% at most.

As far as a servo how much are you willing to spend? Really good servos are not cheap. I recommend a torque of at least 90oz and a speed of .15 or better.

If you have a RTR with the T 15 you will all so need engine mounts to make a gearing change. Going smaller on the CB or bigger on the spur will give you better acceleration.

As far as 30% nitro fuel if all you do is bash I would stick with 20% with an oil content of no more then 12%. What engine do you have?

And last what the heck is this thread doing on page 2???????????? LOL

Depends on what you are talking about as it is hard to compare a stadium truck to a monster truck.

Thanks for the info. I came across a Traxx 2070 Servo on ebay. Do you know if this can be mounted in the MT 2??? Is it compatible???

Thanks, i have purchased a 20% Byron nitro can but it only has 12% of lubrication compared to 16% that had my old power master, do you think that byron is a good one? what difference makes less lubrication? i have g3.0 engine.
