hmm, ya got me stumped then. Only thing I can say is try swapping the servos from the nami to the mt2 and see what happens then.

Sure, you would just need to come up with a mount for the motor and then just swap it out. The new brushless systems have a lot of torque. If you used a lipo pack you might be able to get one small enough to fit where the fuel tank is now.

well i got thinking that if i re done the guts of the truck that i could get it to work with either lipo or nimh batteries. i thought about trying to get the motor where the tank is, the esc either where the motor is or the throttle servo and the batteries in the other spot that the esc isnt.

drift what kind of surface are you running on?
sniper I would try to put the motor where the engine is now and the battery where the tank is. The esc you could mount on top of the receiver box or up by the front shock brace.

It looks like the sand paws should give you better traction in the sand. But the throwers look like you might be able to run on some grass as well as the sand. I could be run though.

Are 2.2 beadlocks any good on a nitro? I have a rockcrawler and it moves slower then i can walk and sometime the bead pops off. I would think on a nitro the tires should be glues to the wheel.

Its made by Tsais, it comes with everything you need to install it. Have a look about 2-3 pages back (pg 691) theres pictures of my truck with the rear exhaust!

You can fit a savage 160cc tank with a stock exhaust.

Hey drift, what part are you having trouble with?
I know of a bunch of guys running the beadlocks and Ive never heard of them slipping under "normal" use. Could the tires be the wrong size for the rims you are using?

No it shouldnt rub. Can you move the engine forward on the mounts at all? It should only take a mm or so to clear.
