why do you want to wheelie?
just wonderin about this as it is a hot topic right now...what could possibley be cool about a wheelie? you cant steer, parts of the car that aren't meant to be in contact with the ground ARE, and I think it looks dumb as hell too. just my opinions, but why do you guys who think its cool, think its cool?

It’s like asking me how I could like Rob Zombie when you’re an avid Elton John fan.
It’s something within and can’t be taught.
If you don’t have the desire to have your car/truck do wheelies and don’t understand the hype of those that can or at least want to as of right now, then you’ll never understand it tomorrow or the next day or long after this thread has faded away.
It is, for the most part, a demonstration of power.

RE: why do you want to wheelie?
I dont see how you could not think a wheelie is impressive. Its seems your into rc but if you had told me that and you werent into rc Id say "this hobby is not for you".
Now that were on the subject!!!
It would be awesome if trannies shifted hard and threw the front into the air hitting 2nd gear around 20 mph!!!!!! With a wheelie bar ofcourse!!!

RE: why do you want to wheelie?
that would be totally friggin awsome!! but not a full wheelie just enough of a little bark to lift up the front suspension.
For me Its all about making a perfect drift turn or going real fast through tight obsitcles...that feeling of knowing your truck is perfectly set up and hooking up really good. Anybody, can make any NST, do wheelies with the right gearing. It takes more to setup a truck and be able to really drive it well. I mean come on!!!!! YOU CANT STEER!!!!! Whats fun about that? To each his own. I love this stuff, and I know you guys do to! Enjoy your wheelies wah(insert engine sound here)waaaaaaaaaaah

RE: why do you want to wheelie?
Yeah wheelies are cool.... but I think a truck/car that can jump over a house and drive away from the landing is much cooler

Wow, that's insane!!! I can't wait to show a couple buddies that one. I'll stick with my xxx-nt wheelies for now.
Thanks again.

Why wheelie?! Why not?! I like to wheelie to make me and my friends smile. My Rusty with a O.S. .15 CV does 'em on comand, love it love it love it!! But what's even cooler, it does it on the road when bashing, and is just perfect for racing. My Rustler is friggin awesome!

RE: why do you want to wheelie?
wheelies are a side effect of lots of power, and if you can wheelie it means you know how to tune a engine. maybe you just think its dumb because your truck cant get the front wheels off the ground. how is it any different than wheelies on a bike? wheelies on a bike are easy. to me nothing is better than coming out of a corner and hitting the battery box on the ground.
