xxx-nt need "back up" parts list + info
i just got one for my nephew.
for all you other xxx-nt owners, whats some of the most common things you break?
im going to get him some back up parts and want to hear what breaks "often". i smacked into the front end of his drake with my storm, and broke a shock end (5023) and a front pivot (4126)
i also plan on getting him the dynamite battery holder since the stock one it a bit of a pain to open if he wanted to and looks nicer to us.
what hop-ups have you done to your xxx-nt?
what spares do you have in your box?

When I ran mine, the most common part to break were the a-arms and the front axle carriers.
If you're going to a track tha has no parts available I'd have a complete front end.
I have basically a complete car in kit form with me when I hit the track with any truck I race
Nothing like missing the A-mail because you don't have a $5 part.

Keep alot of A Arms around, More front than rear shock towers, I have broke the rear never broke the front, this is from jumping, mmmm there are alot of people who part out trucks on ebay, this guy rcwaffle does alot of that on ebay, so you can get entire suspension parts for cheap, but they usually are used or are RTR versions. I dont mind as I like to keep those parts around.
Another thing, get an aluminum battery box, damn I snapped mine off like 2 times, so I am going to get a native racing or rctrix one.
Keep antenna tubes, oh yeah hubs front and rear, compound gear/differential upgrade, upgrade your spur gear to a kevlar one, and get an upgraded differential screw set.
Thats about it as far as what I have broke, oh yeah you will crack your body a bit if you bash around, as I have, I want to get a new one, paint it I have landed on its shell so many times, so keep an extra body for bashin and one for show or racing,
Thats about it i believe.

If hes running JR Z270 servos, change them to JR Z590 well at least the steering servo. Always keep body clips and antennae caps handy.

i would keep 2 sets or a-arms, get the rrp spur gear, a shock tower or 2, maybe a second shock set up, aluminum pivot blocks and hub carryers, and lots of extra screws. oh and ya titanium turnbukles if its not the ad truck.
