Zach, i don't know why your even looking for opinions.. You know your gonna get the rustler no matter what anyone says, i don't know why u want a rustler when the mt is basicly designed to do exactly what u want but ok lol.

either truck you get, you will have a great time with... both the mt2 and the rustler are great trucks, but i think you could pick any hobby level rc car, and be glad you picked it...

Alright dude once again its up to you, these are 2 different trucks designed for 2 different purposes.. Pick what 1 suites your needs.
If you want to bash, hit jumps, and mess around like that.. You want the MT-2
If you want speed.. You want the Rustler

heh.... yea my uncles mt2 is pretty fun to bash with, hes had it for a few months and i think the only part he broke was a rear a-arm, which he got another for 5 bucks... i like 2wd though, i almost consider the mt2 a small monster truck..

Rustler sucks, i would never buy anything from traxxas.. Everything they make is for speed only, but it has nothing to sapport the speed.
Just to make the rustler as durable as a stock MT your gonna have to buy like 150orth of titanium parts for it.. And then its gonna be 4 pounds heavier and then your gonna have to buy a more powerfull engine witch your grand total would be around 300$... When you could just buy a mt and get a wasp 18 for 80$ and you would be going 50+ mph.
MT all the way

Second of all, there aren't even titanium parts for a NR. And you won't get many titanium parts for any truck for $150, titanium is fairly costly.
In all seriousness, you should really know more about a product before you attempt to bash it. You know absolutely nothing about the Nitro Rustler and the only reason you had your friend come on here is to try to get support for your truck. I really hope zach listens to nothing you say when he makes his decision.
