Yea im all into monster trucks buddy, i got a savage.. I don't like the revo its gonna be fragile just like the t-max why dont u check the t-max out? You can't even drive that thing without it breaking.

And i use to have a electric rustler and broke stuff on it alot, nitro rustler is the same thing acept a diff chassic and has a engine.

You can buy titianium parts at rdracing and get them custom made. But i ment aluminum when i said that. I type 110 words per minute i make typos alot.

So you should really know more about what your talking about before u bash me.

heh... rdracing products sells alluminum and carbon fiber parts, and if youve ever gone to thier site and looked at the titanium parts section, youll notice its only titanium hinge pins... http://www.rdracingproducts.com/view...color=Titanium

the only thing that you can get thats not on thier site is red alluminum parts, and you have to order the whole set...

I have an MT2. It's a good truck for allround bashing. But don't expect it to go 45mph out of the box! It will be rather 35-40mph. But you can drop a .18 engine in and buy some other gears, and it will probably reach 45-50mph. I like this truck very much, but to be honest, I don't think you can expect anything more than 50mph. Also, if you would buy the truck, take your time to inspect the rear diff. There were some MT2's where the diffs were too loose, which caused them to be stripped fast. It takes 15 min. to inspect them and place an extra shim if needed. You'll be glad you took the time.

i got the rustler and mt 2..... i like the mt 2 alot better though, theres just not much you can do with the rustler cause it breaks when you jump it all the time. mt also has 4 wheel drive and has alot more torq and better acceleration but my stock engine on it only clocked 42 mph while my rustler clocked 51.. but i got a wasp 18 in my mt 2 now and it flys. but really it just depends on what u wanna do the rustler isnt much of a jumper or a basher its more like a speed truck while the mt 2 is the oppisate its a great jumper and basher and lacks a little speed

it would probly cost more to make the rustler durable cause i break alot of things on it. you would need alot of aluminum parts but i really havent looked into it cause i dont plan on wasting money on my rustler. but if u know where u can get some parts for it you will need to get all aluminum a-arm mounts, aluminum shock towers, aluminum front and rear a-arms, it will be quit expensive to buy these parts, alot of people dont like to engine in the rustler i would eventualy upgrade that too if i was you but you dont really need to do that right away

for the mt it will cost u probly under 100 bucks depends on what engine u get i got a wasp 18 for like 80 bucks at my lhs and you will need to regear it witch isnt expensive at all probly 15 bucks or so

skullbasher what do u have on ur nitro rustler to be able to take 8 to 10 feet of air off a jump. does it bottom out or not and if u have everything stock on a rustler and u take a jump and get like 6 feet of air will it bottom out/or worse yet brake the motor

if its tuned well it goes about 41 mph

its gonna bottem out no matter what you do to it from anything higher then 3ft. because the rustler doesnt got enough ground clearance, and what do you mean by breaking the motor

yea i do bottom out, and i also have to admit, i have some alluminum parts, and some home made strengthening on others, also have some rpm a-arms... accually i put some fuel line on the bottom of the shock shaft and it helps a little bit, but if your jumping high, there will be stress on your truck no matter what....

well you could crack the engine block if you are jumping on to cement or hard ground
i accually have a hole in my crankcase, broke the mounting tab off the motor.... but i dont have to buy a new engine, just a crankcase... i think it got weak from when i landed upside down with my body off and my really tall cooling head on....

Zach your thinking about the a-arms, you know the second place you can put your shocks and it gives you a little more ground clearance that you did to your truck? Thats as high as the rustler goes.

no, if its all plastic it cant, well if u land perfect u might beable to get away with a few jumps and not break nothing but usualy you will. its really hard to control the rustler in the air too cause its only 2 wheel drive.. basicly if you dont land perfect you will break something every time
