Dude read the directions, if u have the truck theres a little thing on the gas tank.. That tells u exactly how to break it in.

Quit makeing like 1000 posts about the same stuff, just ask the questions on the 1st topic u started. Your just spamming the forums.

Hmm... my gas tank has nothing written on it telling me how to break in my truck???

Also, he's curious about r/c, cut him a break. Everyone was new to the hobby once and everyone had questions.

Now to answer your question. I waited about 6 tanks before I began to run it hard. Some say the break-in process is over in 4 tanks, but I'd wait at least 6-8 just to be safe.

And when u buy a truck theres this little paper atached to the gas tank that tells u exactly how to break the engine in..

What the heck did you buy? There has NEVER been one on any truck I have bought.
I tend to run 8-10 tanks thru my engines.

well actually i bought a NTC3 tank for my GT and it came with a slip...but never said anything about break in. O.o

dude that movie is insane...i love the race at the end...it just makes me want to go out and well...race of course...anyways...i liked the short shorts...and all the old school ways of doing things in that movie...the starter box was like a suitcase....i love it

I was full throttle on my second tank, but it's an RB

Thats the way to do it with RB engines, in fact i think all engines should be broken in like that (Heat cycling) by getting it up to temperature and then cooling it down. Idiling it there for a tank or two doesnt do much because it doesnt reach its proper operation temperature so no heat cycle occurs.
