I agree what a good shop WOULD do, but even in a crappy shop's defense it IS the fault of the manufacturer. I'd unquestionably exchange it for a new one were I the employee at the hobby shop.

Now, money back? No, because the pullstart may have broken because of user error and if he broke the 2nd one, that would pretty much clear up what was going on.

And yeah, the motorcycle business is way different. Parts are easier to determine whether something broke because of user error or faulty equipment and bikes typically don't see the kind of harsh abuse that RC's see. Also, most ATV's and bikes come with some kind of unconditional warranty with a specific time frame, whereas RC is usually "run whatcha brung, and if you brung crap, it's your fault for buying it". Even the chinese bike importers (Kazuma, Redcat, Hyusong) will warranty their stuff unconditionally even though they don't manufacture it.

When was the last time you saw a guy jump a Road King or Dyna 30 feet in the air, do a triple backflip, and land upside-down? if your shop would warranty that...maybe it's time for me to get a Dyna Bob (and spray it!)

I agree I would not give a refund but would do what I could to help. All so from what I was presuming the pull starter was bad out of the package. Yes it had been run for some time then this would change things.

I get so tired of so many hobby shops complaining about how comparative the business is do to on line stores but do not what to give service to there customers. I am from the old school if the service is good I will pay the price. Most not all hobby shops this day and age as well as many business do not know what service really is. I do most of business on line because I not only get better prices I get better service.

Welcome to the forum.
Have you tried setting the idle up a little? Yes you can make a slide carburetor work or you can get the TZ with a rotary carburetor.

long shaft, and just basically turn the servo around. if you can't figure it out, you don't need to try it

On many of the T15 I have help friends with about 2/3 of them have to be sealed to get them to run properly The TZ is a bear and the Rush has a weak transmission patricianly if you do not have the slipper set just right. I hope the fuel tank you got is the one with out the primer.
Good Luck.

Bit off topic from the carb n stuff but...

Not quite so much a hop up but more of a conversion. Will wheels from a 4wd (so has hexes on all 4 wheels) fit on the Rush fine even though it only has Hexes on the rear?

Thought about putting Savage wheels on mine maybe in time considering there alot more popular around where I am than the rushes are. Parts are a helluva lot easier to source
