Default What new these days

Sup? Just found this forum while digging for some information on google. After being out of the hobby for about 4 years I am getting ready to dig back in. Money not being an issue, what are some fairly good kits to buy these days? Or are people just building cars a la cart?

Im sure this has been asked many a time and I will do its due deligance and search, I just figured this way will be faster.

Thanks Guys!

Heh, well I suppose I should have been a little more specific, I was in a rush to get to work. Anywho...

I have built kits before and actually perfer to go that way for several reasons that I wont bother with here. By recommendations I mean brand etc. From what I have read recently HPI, Team Associated, Team Losi are a few of the better brands to stick with but wanted opinions from people who actually use them. HPI has a couple cars/trucks I would like to have but dont really seem to have too much in the way of Kits, most seem to be RTR.

Personally, I could give a rats ***** about RTR's but that is neither here nor there. I do realize they have their benefits, just not for me. Any new big advances in controller technology that I should know of?

give me the 411 people!

thanks again

If you want a stadium truck and money isnt an option then you can opt for the Team Losi XXX NT Adam Drake edition or hte Associated Factory Team RC10GT. Both are great trucks, I personlly like the Losi for Racing because it seems to hook up better. A lot of the bashers like the GT because they say it tends to hold up better. I havent really had any issues with my XXX NT breaking parts but if anything hits a curb at 40+ mph your gonna break sumptin! If you want a 4wd stadium truck then you can go with the HPI MT, if you want 1/8th scale then you can go with a Mugen, Kyosho, Ofna, or a GS Storm. All four are great. Its all about personal prefferance. Hope this helps! J

I like the RC10GT kit. has alot of hop ups to it and all you need is to spend extra on a good engine and radio. GT is usually the bashers and racers choice because its been around since '94 and is STILL the choice for bashing and racing. Almost every lhs has parts for it so its easy to fix and go.
