Glade to see I am not the only old fart around here! LOL Come race with us in Warner Robins some time. We have a 1,100 center line track that the Pros Like Ryan Lopez race at often and said it is a great track. If you would like more information PM me.

Im 21. My first "real" RC car was a Tamiya Dirt Thrasher that I saved up for ALL summer by mowing my neighbors lawn once a week for $20 when I was maybe 15-16 yrs old! Took forever to save that money but it was way worth it... it was a good electric car for its time, but now I have a Nitro Rustler, and theres no comparison in the speed! Oh yeah and here in Jersey, when it snows a few inches school gets canceled as long as it sticks to the streets. So far, this winter has been unusually warm, and tomorrow its actually supposed to snow a few inches!!!!! I hope it does I want at least one storm before winter is over!!!

There must be only a small group of us that either had or remembers the old Sears/Nikko buggies.  For years I have been wondering where to get tires for the Nikko Rhino, Sears Superlobo and Sears Superlobo II?  Are these the same buggy, just with different names?  Do they all have the size tires?  Does any company actually make tires to fit these buggies?  Can they be upgraded to all ball bearings?  Also, can I replace/update the motor?  If so, am I asking for tranny blow out?

I've been in and out of the hobby due to the economy and school (elementary to college). Looking to get back into it. Glad to see nitro has come down in price!

I'm 37 now and started out with a Hot Shot back when I was about 10, my dad traded his RC plane to a friend of his so I could have a car to run. I ran that car for a long time then when I turned 18 I got myself an rc10gt(the hotest thing on the market in 93-94) and a bolink eliminator drag car that ran twelve cells, hey that was a lot back in the day. LMAO still the fastest car RC car I've driven to date. When I got married and had my own kids the RC's went on the back burner for a while. I now have planes helicopters and just recently I picked up a "newer" RC10gt, making two in the family now, my original deep pan Team truck and the recently acquired RTR version with the flat pan. I'm working on my old deep pan for my boys to run and I tell you what there is nothing like the feel and smell of a nitro RC. I can't wait to get the boys hooked... It is kind Ida cruel joke tho getting them hooked on RC but oh well HEHEHEEE.

21 years old. First truck... Nitro rustler on my 10th birthday, still have the truck but it does not even look like the same vehicle. This hobby is awesome. Ill be doing this for a while

15 here, Got my first rc-car when i was 7 it was a 100$ electric buggy, my bro ran it over with his monster truck when we were bashing and the chassis snapped or broke i dont really remember. When we took it to the lhs they said the repair would be 120$! So we didnt repair it and i dont really remember what happened to it. Then when i was 10 for my b-day my oldest bro bought me a 200$ 4wd electric stadium truck (it was another not very well known company) And i loved it, but after about 3 months i let my 15 year old brother drive it for the first time, and it took him a while to me into letting him sence he did run over my 1st rc! And guess what, 20 seconds into it, he crashes into a curb full throttle... Lets just say that was the end of that car. Then when i was 13 i got a Rustler Vxl with a 3s 5000mah 11.1v 50c lipo, and they thing flew! i still got it btw, then when i was around 14, i bought a jato 3.3 off craigslist and that thing is fast to. Then recently i bought a Revo 3.3, And i also just ordered a x-ray xb9 kit (my first racing model)

Turning 30 next month,I totally feel ya cj007!! I've been a RC nut since I was old enough to want one... I used to have an awesome collection of old nikko/sears/tyco RC's,my favorites was an old 1/8th 4x4 e-buggy called a hurricane or something and nikko buggy that had tracks instead of tires.... Oh and an old truck my step uncle gave me that had a light up shaker engine sticking out the hood. Ahh the memories,god I'm getting old lol. It's nice to see my nephews taking such an interest in them...

I'm 44 and just bought a Jato 3.3 for my son and I to play around with. I have been in out of RC since I was 14. I am more into Flying RC Heli's but They don't seem to intrest my son as much as they do myself.
This is my first nitro car/truck but I have been around nitros plenty with Planes and Heli's these are a little smaller than what I am used to but still just as much fun.
