so a bad one way bearing could cause that oil going every where?

i use a pull start and it still starts good.

possibly, check for cracks in the pull start and while your at it take the engine out and see if its leaking from ther, but what ever you do just make sure you fix it cuz it should never leak that much

dude, your chassis still looks new! my chassis got flattend by a minivan, and it still runs, but I had to cut the loop around the flywheel off, and the loop on the other side. My jato wears its chassis like a badge of honor!

LMAO. Your truck looks rough. maybe should clean it a little more also?

Anyways i took off my engine and tranny and cleaned everythign up. Also when i took my exaust header (which is not stock) the rubber peace that was acting like a seal is almost worn to nothing. Think that might have been why all the oil was every where.

yes, thats a BIG problem. well, not that big, but you should replace it cuz it actualy effects the performance a little and you will get oil and gunk everywhere. i have gunk baked to my header now

If anyone wants there trx 2.5 0r 3.3 to crank some serious power send it to www.rcmotorservice.com. I have two 2.5s in jatos and they are the king of the oval. He also does cylinder re-sizeing and port work and a awsome crank shaft mod.

That video sounds sweet. I like how he says,"sound pretty good" @ the end. all motors sound quick when ther is no load on them. (wheels) He needs to show side-by-side comparison of stock vs. built. although Im sure his work kiks az. the contoured cranks alone prolly give the most bang for buck. notice the "knife-edge" on his cranks, compared to stock. the smoother edges"cut" through the fuel mixture in the case. the blunt edges on the stocker creates turbulence in the fuel mixture. if the fuel mixture stays consistance, more dependable power is easier to obtain. wish I had a old motor to send him. my 3.3 is still in its first gallon. gave my old 2.5 to osuwins.

His engines are very fast and great on fuel mileage and he won the PA. tour last season with his engines. On the oval where big HP. helps win races is where it really counts. His trx 2.5 compare to rb15s in power and torque is more than the rb.

E-bay is the best for just about any parts, Recently there has been a guy on there listing entire Jato 3.3's piece by piece. he combines shipping and the prices are great!!! I have gotten about $150 worth of parts for $48 and that has fixed my last three crashes.... But these are only OEM parts, E-bay also has after market parts but their prices are closer tot he hobby shop.

You are a really bad driver if you brake 100 dollars worth of turn buckles... I have only broken mine by a head on collsion with something hard with some speed. And i have only broke like 3 in 6 months...
