Seemed to have developed another problem with my brakes. When applied the brakes come on but don't release. You have to manually move the arm back so the car moves again. Is there a spring somewhere that pushes it back? Only thing I can find in the manual is the brake bellcrank, not sure that's it.

Check out the link I posted just above your post. It should help. Down towards the end of the page.

Thanks for the reply!! Ive looked at those 5 pictures. Ive put some fuel tubing on but the 3rd picture (this releases the brakes) - do you have a spring on that rod so it pushes it back?? I think that would work if you do.

This is the situation I have, and the more I look at this the more Im confused.

Thanks again!!

OK. I was having the same issue. That plastic arm is no good and begins to round out at the pivot point. The first thing you should get in aluminum is that arm. If nothing else at least get the arm. Also try loosening the screw's that hold the brake pads just a bit. Also that piece I have on the brake dies not have a spring. The servo horn on the throttle servo pushes it back and it releases the brakes. I yay can't remember for the life of me what it is called. Collet I think but I'm not sure.

Jaco hands down. Just my opinion though. I have used them with awesome results on cement and pavement. Just don't use them on brand new pavement. It's like driving it on ice.

My Jato was 2nd hand and it didnt have the collar on the brake lead like yours has. And to be honest the brakes have never been too clever.

In the next few days im going to order the aluminum brake arm, dual brake pads/discs set and collar for the brake lead. All being well this should get them working properly

Thanks again for the help!!
