Dont go with the OS TZ .12 . Its got way too much torque and the engine is not reliable. OS has had problems with their new engines, mainly the TZ line up, the Vspec and the new .30.

My TZ is straight hooked up. The OS .12 tz is pretty much a rocket ship. I tossed one in my rush evo then put it in the rustler. The engine fires right up, holds a tune better than other engines Ive run with.
It has yet to be at a race track and only has about a quart and a half through it if that much. I cant see how you can go wrong with this engine. Your going to eat up tires and burn the rear diffs, but this is a super engine if you can swing the cash.

slop in the conrods, leading to scratches on the backplates, and eventually bearing leaks. And in some cases, the engine just breaks entirely.

recemmended shock oil.. for the electric XC

been doing some reading and since the t4 closely matches the xc i have noticed that the shock oil used for the t4 is rec: 35-40 in the rear with their number 1 piston which is the smallest.. and the front they use 25-30 with the second largest piston,, either way their pistons only have 2 holes..

now the xc has a larger shock body and the pistons have 3 large holes and the stock shock oil is 40wt

what would make this imitate the t4 more.. im trying to imitate a t4 with 30wt all around but using a TA number 1 piston in the rear while using a number 3 in front.. making the front softer than the rear...

i was thinkng of 40wt front and maybe 50wt rear,, for offroad raacing or even 45 rear

I got it at discount, but you can get it 135 shipped. Strong engine with almost too much grunt for the truck. You can creep to the front without a problem.

Probably best dropping the RC10GT diff in there to be extra safe

I just ordered a Proline Crowd Pleazer body for it, and some spray to give it some color. I'll update pics in the next week or two.

i have noticed that certain rims offer a lil bit of wider stance to the rears than the stock rims offer.. will this offer an advantage on offroad tracks

we were packed into a tiny ass place... so many people complained after amon amarth that trivium should have opened. But, after hearing trivium... was an obvious reason why they were second!

amon amart sucks heh... the place they played at here too was rly small. i blacked out during bodom, i kept getting like owned by these crazy freaks. Lack of air i guess. theres like no ventilation in the venue, and im like short... so yeah. good thing my friend was keeping an eye on me, he carried me out [8D]

at least no emo kids were at this concert, they were at the fear factory one... except they were there to see It Dies Today. Man now THEY should have opened because they absolutely suck.

Ok here is an update to those who have asked about STS. For engine info, support, and other chatting purposes, you can find it at www.tmaxximum.com . Just scroll down to Factory Support, you cant miss it.

i got em after breaking the origionals, but honestly i dont see any difference except their gonna be stronger. i havent smacked any curbs or cartwheeled lately so i dont really know how much abuse they can handle.
