Default Story - Nitro eating storm drain

I thought I was hot stuff today powersliding my evader all over the road today as several people were standing out on the road watching me.

I was WRONG

I powerslid right into the storm drain that looked a lot like this.

Before panicking, the first thing I thought of was

.oO(Great, now I can get a new truck!)

followed by

.oO(Oh ****, I just ordered a OS 18 CV-RX and $100 bucks in parts for this thing last night)

Not too sure how the hell that happened. I mean, the storm drain isn't much longer than the car, and the car actually scraped the top of it as it slid right into it. I couldn't slide it into that little slot again if I HAD to.

Luckily I could lay on the ground and peer into it and see that it was face down in a big pile of leaves. At this point I was more concerned that I was going to catch the whole thing on fire with the engine. But alas, I ran home and grabbed a hanger and snagged a wheel to rescue my sewer dwelling evader. [sm=drowning.gif]

The only thing wrong with it was a snapped the antenna tube and roughed up the head pretty well.

The end.

I'm lucky it hadn't rained recently as my evader would have been bye bye. =\

I felt pretty dumb laying in the road trying to jam my head into the drain hole so I could see my truck. I tried prying the storm drain cover off but that stupid thing is heavy and my fingers weren't sufficient for prying the manhole cover.

I was laughing about it more than anything.

I mean, it was a great excuse to buy a new one.

Looks like I'll have to get it run over in a few months.

You're not saying the Evader isn't race worthy, right?

khlept, good luck figuring out ANYTHING he says.
I can't understand a word that comes from his keyboard.
nitro, until you own an Evader ST don't comment on its race-worthiness. it's a GOOD truck, now STFU.

I could say something about his signature that would explain things quite clearly, but I wouldn't want to get banned =]

Anyways, I like my Evader. It's the humble truck that could.

with my experience with the evader it is a good beginner level entry but ita entry, i would buy a gt far bettermy favorite, but i will admit if you want the handling try the xxx nt i just dont like working on them and i have broken far more parts on the xxxnt then a rc10gt and i like the gt's actually i have one in the mail tight now
